WHY CATHAYS PARK?
The museum and the whole of Cathays Park is made from Portland Stone, a type of white limestone from Dorset. Apparently, you can still see fossilized oyster shells embedded in the stone! The limestone buildings make the perfect backdrop to capture some classic and timeless portraiture.
We can walk along streets surrounded by beautiful Edwardian architecture and then head to Alexandra gardens for a little more greenery.
Alexandra gardens provides a little peace in what is smack bang in the middle of the city centre. A lovely bit of tranquil leafy goodness right in the centre of the metropolis.
Cathays Park has the best of both worlds; nature & classic Edwardian architecture.

My favourite location for birthday shoots is Cathays Park but I love wild nature so reach out if you have something different in mind or would like some options for an alternative outdoor session. I have lots of woodland, beaches and parks locally that I love to shoot at.
WHAT TIME?
Most of my spots will be afternoon sessions. However I may have some morning spots available. I tend to avoid midday so that the sun is a little lower in the sky for a more gentle light.

THE FINE DETAILS
- A 45 minute photo shoot.
- 20 high resolution edited photos downloadable from an online gallery.
- The option to see the whole gallery, choose your favourites & add on extra photos.
- Gift it as an e-voucher or physical voucher posted to their door*.

*Small additional fee to cover postage of physical voucher.
Photographer can provide balloons as pictured (+£40) and a cake (price on request)
